Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

Gallia County is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA standards established by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines help make web content more accessible to people with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

We regularly test our website for accessibility issues and work to resolve them promptly. Our most recent accessibility scan found zero issues across all public-facing pages.

Accessible Document Formats

Many of our documents are available as PDF files. While we are working to ensure that all PDFs meet accessibility standards, some older documents may not be fully accessible to screen readers. If you need information from a document in an alternative format, please contact us and we will provide it to you in a way that works for you.

Alternative formats we can provide include:

  • Large print
  • Plain text or email
  • Information read to you by phone
  • Other formats as needed
